I wouldn’t give up our two years together for anything.

I need to fix my happiness and I think I need to do it alone.

So most of you have probably seen the video of the lady at FAU that snapped today in a lecture and threatened to kill “the fuck out of” the lady sitting next to her, the professor, wish death on all white “mother fuckers,” slapped a kid who wasn’t even speaking to her, called every black student around her the N word, and got in a physical altercation with two men who were trying to get her out of the classroom.

To get to the point, someone just posted that we need to “pray for her and not gauk at her.” while I’ll admit that my faith is important to me and I like to think I have a really unique relationship with God, I have no shame in saying there is no way her name will be mentioned in my prayers tonight.

I pray my grandparents are happy up in heaven, I pray my family is granted safety for another day, I pray my friends stay happy and healthy. I pray for the sick, I pray for the poor. I pray for the underprivileged, I even pray for a long life for my dog.

That being said, I can’t bring myself to ask the lord to forgive a woman with such hate and malice in her heart, a woman who both physically and verbally assaulted multiple innocent people today. I’ll pray for the professor who was humiliated, the students who were terrified, the boy who was smacked, and everyone else whose day she ruined, but God forgive me, I can’t pray for her.

If that makes me a bad Catholic because my personal beliefs don’t match up with theirs perfectly, then I’m sorry.. But I just can’t.
